Many people might have seen my instagram and wondered what the heck has been going on? Let me tell ya! So back at the end of February we decided to move for some reasons I dont need to mention. We found a cute little house that was part of a HOA and small community. It looked very nice and was fairly clean. We moved in a hurry and jumped the gun on a few things. Later on we found out that we did not have two parking spots making our other car (whoever it was) have to park on the street and walk a 1/2 mile to our house. This was not okay. It was hot and forever away (it felt like). So this and a few other things not worth mentioning voided our contract. We saw this as an out! Then while looking for a new house we were informed that our house had been sold. Great for them but bad for us... They gave us a month to find a place and GTFO. The neighborhood was crappy and full of 'white trash' people. Some were nice but the constant partying from the hoodrats in front of us and the stoners across the street pushed me over my limit. I would go out for a run on a nice beautiful day and get cigarette smoke or weed. Not what I wanted to smell on my run. So when we got our notice, I wasn't sad. We found a great little apartment (yes we are going to downsize, 3 bedrooms was way to much). Unfortunately, our 'new' apartment will not be ready until Darin's Boss's house gets done. His house is close to being done but due to unforeseen delays like all new houses have, NO ONE KNOWS WHEN IT WILL BE DONE! We are hoping to only be homeless a couple of weeks. Meanwhile the Gubler's opened up their home to us. We would have liked to split the 2 weeks with both our of parents so we weren't such a burden on one family but my parents are trying to show the house they are in to sell it. With working nights and having showings during the day, I would get no sleep. So here we are at the gubs! It will be nice to connect with some family but I definitely can't wait to have my own space again. Goodbye #29 you will not be missed.
Enough about stupid housing stuff! We have had such a great summer! We have only escaped for a few adventures but great adventures they have been! In a nutshell, We went to lake Powell with my family and spent 3 days on a houseboat enjoying ourselves. I went on a quick trip to Colorado for my cousin Gabys wedding which was absolutely gorgeous! But mainly we have been working. Darin is LOVING his new job at KIA. He's good at what he does and connecting with people. I am still in the ER and loving my job more and more everyday! How many people can say they love their job? We can! Our life has been very crazy and chaotic. Many things have been thrown in our path that have made 2016 a VERY hard year for me and Darin. We have been through SOOOO many hard times. These hard times have only brought us closer to each other and to the gospel. We are so grateful for family and friends who have helped us throughout this year. We couldn't have made it without our families, friends, and the gospel. I know personally I would have not made it.. at all! I love my life even though this has been the roughest year in my life thus far. Heres to hoping the last half of the year is much better then the first half. Thanks to everyone who has helped us pack and move and given us support! WE LOVE YOU ALL!

A lot has happened 🌹
Since my last post a lot has happened! I seem to go through spurts of blogging. But anyways...These last couple of months have been really hard. We went through a few experiences that have pretty much changed our whole lives! I won't go into detail about them, as they are still sensitive topics but we have learned so much and have grown a lot as a couple. Darin has been my rock and I wouldn't have survived these experiences without him! He's always so strong, faithful, and loving.
Enough about the sad news.. WE MOVED! We moved into an actual house. Not a one bedroom apartment. It's so great and we love the space! Also, We are almost finished with the semester! And we couldn't be happier. Neither one of us are going to school in the summer because... Well because we need a freakin break from school! And that's okay! I seriously can't wait for summer... 2 weeks and counting! We have many fun trips planned this summer. We are going on a cruise in May and then Lake Powell and Colorado in July (hopefully). Then we have a few other small trips planned here and there.
In other news... I got a promotion at work! I guess that's what you could call it! I'm a tech team lead for the night shift. Which I'm more than happy to do. I just enjoy helping people and now that I'm a team lead I can help my coworkers and patients! Darin has changed jobs. He working security for a while but is trying to find something more permanent over the summer!
We are so grateful for everything life throws at us, even the trials. There's a little life update for everyone reading my blog!

Quick Trip to Zion National Park!
How lucky are we that we live so close to such an amazing National Park? Darin and I took a Saturday and went to Zion. It is about a 30 minute drive from our house. We have been out there many times but its always a new adventure. We decided to do one hike to the 'Overlook' and it was gorgeous. This time of year Zion is covered in snow and very cold. We also randomly pulled off the side of the road and hiked around.... I dont know if that is entirely allowed but oh well! We hiked in the snow and all around. We hiked to a frozen waterfall. It was a fun get away for a day and spend some time together. These little adventures are what give us the best memories.
Spring Semester 2016.
So yeah... School sucks! Darin and I are both in school and both work. Every semester until this one I have been full time and also full time work. That is what Darin is doing this semester. Bless his heart because it is so hard! I know he can do it though. This semester is not easy for me though. I am in Microbiology lecture and lab, and applying for nursing school. Like WHAT?! I am seriously so nervous. This semester has been so stressful due to school, work, and applying. It'll all be over soon. I hand in my application on Feb. 15th. And I am so excited, nervous, and anxious. Darin Is taking many ugly finance classes that make me want to gag. But he's amazing and is doing so well! We are 4 weeks in and..... MANY to go! We are doing good but hating school. We just have to keep telling ourselves that one day it will all day off! Fingers Crossed!

New Year= New Decor
I have spent this Christmas break redoing my living room. I redid the colors from red, black, and white to Gold, Black and silver. It's been a blast! I had my sister come and help me fix the wall and organize and decide what to put where. After many hours and a decent amount of money, I am so happy with the result!

Cheers to the New Year! #2016
I personally think celebrating New Years is lame. For people like Darin and I who don't drink alcohol, it's very very lame. Everytime I celebrate this holiday it's a bust. But This year it was actually fun! I spent most of the day of the 31st sleeping because I had worked the night before and Darin had to work that day so why would I get up? Haha! Anyways the night started and we went to my Aunt Mindys house. My cousins were in town so they held a family party! We had food and played games. We also did a small gift exchange and I got an AWESOME smelling candle. There also may have been a spontaneous dance party.. And of course Darin did not participate! It was a very fun way to spend a lame holiday. After my aunts, we went to The Dufresnes house and play cards. Overall a great night!
The next day we slept in which is a vacation in itself because that never happens for Darin. Then we spent the day gathering supplies for sledding. We had to go out to Hurricane and borrow snow clothes from Darin's parents. Then grabbed tubes from Big O and lunch . We drove out to Pine Valley and enjoyed a couple of cold hours sledding. It was a blast and a fun way to start the year with friends.
I think the New Year is important because it gives you a chance to start fresh. It's a motivating time for me. I can't wait for this year. I have 5 small resolutions that I am working on:
1) Get into nursing school
2) Get orangized
3) simplify.
4) be happy
5) be healthy
Often times I find myself stressing over things I don't need to. It's a waste of time and frustration. It causes unnecessary drama and anxiety. I am eliminating it from my life. I am working on being happy and healthy and making most of a new year. I hope everyone has a wonderful year. Make the most of your fresh start to a new year!

Christmas 2015
Christmas is such a fun holiday. I've always loved the spirit around and the joy the season seems to bring. This year I had to work Christmas Eve and Day. It actually really sucked. It's been tradition for as long as I can remember we have gone to Grandma Vicki's. With getting married and having to split holidays plus working in healthcare I haven't had a 'traditional' Christmas in a long time. We had dinner at my parents house with some family. My moms homemade food is to die for! That definitely brought some of the tradition I was hoping for! We played a round of Nines and opened our Christmas pajamas. Later, I went to work which was difficult to leave my family and hubby. I'll admit I cried. Darin was so nice to comfort me! At work there was some Christmas Spirit and everyone had the same feelings I did but we made the best of it. There was lots food and treats. Later that night my cute family came to visit me at work! Made my night! They brought some homemade fudge and toffee. It helped to see their faces because it was so difficult to work Chrismtas. After that Darin came and saw me and it was so cute. I am sure grateful for them to help me through it!
Christmas Day was very fun as well! We went to my parents opened presents And had breakfast and then headed to Darin's parents! We opened presents with them and Then I slept most of the day. Darin got to talk to his brother Justin who is in a mission in Florida. I didn't because I was sleeping and had to work that night but I had them pass on my love! We had dinner with his family and the I headed back to work.
Although this Christmas wasn't traditional I still had a great Christmas. It will make all the holidays I don't work so much better! Right?!
This years presents consisted of clothing, shoes, A NEW SEWING MACHINE, money, and so much more! We sure love our families and enjoy the times we have together! I hope everyone's Christmases were just as great! Merry Christmas 2015!
